    It started out as a biopic of Kostner’s life but once the truth had burned the film crew’s minds, the next crew decided to use edited footage of Kostner wondering the praries with new footage. Kostner was subdued still long enough for scenes with the Sioux with the promise of gophers andmore gophers to come. True.
